Hood for HD DA 55-300 WR

Hello

I need a new hood for a HD DA 55-300 WR and as far as I can se it's the PH-RBI 58 which is very expensive.
Does the hood from the old DA 55-300 (PH-RBG 58) fit the newer lens or can I find any thid-party solutions that might work?

I have the oldest 55-300 and the newest PLM version. The old hood fits on the fatter PLM in use, but does not attach to the lens when reversed for storage; it's too narrow. I'd expect the RBG 58 to fit, at least in use, since the two lenses you've referenced are the same diameter. Hopefully someone with the actual lenses will chime in. If not, there's not much risk in the $10 knock off from JJC. Unfortunately, it seems there's no direct knock-off for the RBI-58 at JJC
