Any hints on Chinon 28-85mm?

I’ve come across an old copy but can’t find any information regarding the 28-85 mm 1:4. It is a non-af with filter thread 72mm.
Any clue?

Its specs sound similar to a lens sold around these parts under the Makinon name in the early 1980s. Not sure who exactly made them, but performance was pretty iffy even when they were new. Over the years, most of them have developed haze in the interior glass surfaces, and they have a definite yellow colour cast.

Hopefully the Chinon model is something different and better.
