I don't have LBA. Just like Mark Twain, I can quit buying lenses any time - I've done it thousands of times. (He was talking smoking, and I did quit that habit - with extreme difficulty). My doctor (who has nice images on his office walls that he took) encourages me. Carrying extra weight is ok, as long as it is in my LowePro backpack, so I get extra exercise. <G>

I want both those lenses, but a guy needs to eat. *sigh* On the other hand, Hoghead, you said you shoot 90% of the time with the 18-250? Is it as sharp as the reviews say it is? A lot of writers seem to have been impressed with the clarity of that lens, even at full telephoto.

LBA is a long, painfull, expensive road. Spoken by someone that has experienced an extremely bad case of LBA to get to this point. Ugh!!
My cases of LBA are not constant nor do they seem to be long and painful... seems to disappear everytime I buy a lens, so I reckon its the best was of keeping it at bay....

Hey Drew,
Yes it really is a great lens. I do most of my shooting at motorcycle and car events and travel by motorcycle so I'm limited on what I can carry. The 18-250 is pretty much all I have with me most of the time along with the 540 flash and it seems to get the job done rather well. I'm really going to force myself to start using the new glass.
