Looking for information about Maximar 1:3.5 200mm m42 lens

I bought a Asahi Pentax Spotmatic with a bunch of lenses.

One of them is a:

MAXIMAR AUTO TELE 200MM 1:3.5

On all the other lenses i can find information but not this one, does anyone know anything about this lens?
It only says made in japan

There are a bunch of third-party lenses listed here:

Miscellaneous Lenses for Pentax: Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database

There’s a decent chance your lens was made by the same company that made one of those. It looks like yours was probably marketed as a Maximar, but I’ve never heard of that company before.

It would help to know more about your lens. Is it multicoated? How many aperture blades? How big is it?

I've seen that type of DOF scale on a Mamiya-Sekor and a Panagor 200mm 3.5 The placement of the aperture ring is strange since it as an AUTO lens. What is the filter thread diameter?

Thank you for the responses so far.

Added picture for diafragma.

Filter size is not mentioned anywhere but measured its 64/65mm.

My Panagor 200mm 3.5 looks like this:

I can see some family resemblance. It has an eight bladed aperture though. Filter thread is likely 62mm then. I guess you measured the out diameter.

Yes i measured the outer diameter. I just got my first set of vintage lenses so i have a lot to learn This forum is really helpful so far.

Other lenses with the set:
Super-Takumar 1:1.8 /55
Soligor 135mm 1:3.5 (Tokina) serial number)
Soligor 35mm 1:2.8 (Sun serial number)
Tamron 90mm macro f 2.5 adaptall

Another picture with the A/M switch on the lens.

There is even a Maximar 200mm 3.5 That looks exactly like the Panagor in this test in Dutch they even say it is identical:

I'd say it was a great value option, almost as good as the much more expensive Konica next to it.

Here's the sheet with the Panagor on it:

Likely a store brand. Since Mamiya/Sekor also has one (referred to as the second version of their 200mm 3.5, and the first and third version are clearly Tokina made). I guess this one was also made by a third party lens manufacturer. I am guessing it was a value option made by Komine or maybe Kino. quality matches their standards more than any of the other Japanese third party manufacturers. The tests come from Focus magazine btw. March 1973. The magazine still exists.
