My favorite changes from time to time. Over the summer it was the DA* 50-135mm. Right now it's the A* 85mm f1.4. I suspect when I get Sigma's 100-300 this weekend there could be a new love affair (depending how it renders bokeh, though).

It changes for me too. But thinking about it critically, it only took a few seconds of thought of what really is on top from the set that I have... regardless of the added effort of it being manual focus only:

.

Everything in my sig I consider at the very least 'very good', or I wouldn't be keeping them. But, to rank, as of right now...

1) M 85 f/2
2) FA 77 f/1.8 limited
3) DA* 50-135 f/2.8 + DA 35 f/2.8 Macro Limited
4) DA 12-24 f/4 + Sigma 70 f/2.8 macro
5) DA* 16-50 f/2.8 + Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 + M 20 f/4
6) Super Tak 105 f/2.8 + M 100 f/2.8 + Vivitar 28 f/2.8 Close Focus (K2) + Jupiter-9 85 f/2
7) Everything else left in my sig is about tied, all good

Jury's still out on the new Tammy 70-200, but that will probably be somewhere up in the top 6. (Tye top 6 are all excellent, # 6 is not in any way substandard, it's just that you're making me rank them )

Bummer you don't have the DA 70mm Limited jsherman999... I'd be very interested in knowing where it fits in your ranking.

Oddly enough with all the mighty fine lens I own, I find myself with the tamron 70-300 mounted on my k10d most of the time. Probably because my preference is wild life and bug walks and the tamron 70-300 is a lightweight lens that always surprises me. It is much more comfortable to hike for a few miles with it compared to my bigma! The limited lenses I own, I love to use but I do use them in more specific situations.

My overall favorite is the FA77 Ltd. However, the lens most often mounted on my K10D is the FA35/2 because its focal length is more "general purpose". The Sigma 17-70mm is a close second, for sheer versatility.

18 -250. Obviously not the best lens, especially in low light, but for all around use, it's my pick, particularly when traveling.

Lately it has been my 24 f2.8 OM Zuiko. It gets bumped often by my Nikkor 35/2 and 55/3.5 micro lenses.

I just got the 77 ltd. so I can't say thats my favorite.

In my case, used most doesn't equal favorite. My 50/1.4 has got much use than all my others. My favorite, though, is my Vivitar Series 1 90/2.5 macro. It's just so fun to use, and it's built like a tank!

Yep. My favorite is the FA77. Most on the camera is the FA31.

Voigtlander Nokton 58mm f/1.4 is my favorite lens but the one that is usually on the camera is the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8.

Pentax FA 35/2 is on the camera, though the Jupiter-9 85/2 is probably my favorite.

More often than not, my FA 35mm F2. The right size, black (my 43 is silver), and the right weight. I am hoping to land a DA* 50-135 at some point before Christmas so that might change!
