SMC Pentax M / 28 - 50 Zoom???

If you guys came across one of these, would you bite? Not so much information out there, I have not never seen one of these.

What do you think? Just for rarity? Oddity?

jocko_nc I am not sure about the SMC-M 28-50 but the SMC-A 24-50 f4 and the SMC-F 24-50 f4 are very capable lenses. Great color and contrast. Very good sharpness.

Generally favorable opinions on the M 24-35 f/3.5 as well.

If the 28-50 is inexpensive (to you) it might be fun to try but I wouldn't count on it being easy to resell. Obviously its range is not exactly the most attractive for digital but would have been more interesting on film. Note that KEH has at least one in BGN condition so you have that as a pricing reference as well.

If you end up getting one you should review it for the PF review database!
