My question is, what would I gain by adding a 50-200 DA to my kit.
I shoot aviation, some landscapes, wildlife and flora (usually in close up) and occasional family shots and anything else that catches the eye.
Thanks in advance.

Everyone seems to agree that the 50-200 would add no value.
You like to do wildlife and flora closeup so maybe a true 1:1 macro lens.
Also, a 17-70 by Pentax or Sigma could be good for family shots/walkaround or a 17-50 by Sigma, Pentax or Tamron.
Buying used is of course an option. You might look for what is on sale here or keep your eyes open when KEH has their year end sales with the one year warranty.
