Airshow lens advice

While not a lens advice, it was an airshow about a decade ago that showed me the beauty of shooting raw. You will be amazed at what can be recovered in PP.

Yeah, if the sun's shining on the aircraft you won't need RAW, but if it's backlit it will be underexposed and have to be raised in post.

Yeah, if the sun's shining directly on the plane from where you're standing, JPG's fine, but if it's backlit it'll be underexposed and need to be lifted in post, so RAW's the way to go to try to keep the sky from blowing.
