Looking for something Voigtlander in Pentax Mount

So I really love the look of the Voigtlander 15mm lens for Sony Emount. However, there is a possibility I might be leaving Sony for Canon in the next year, and given that I'm still keeping my K1, I'm hesitant to buy that lens as I wouldn't be able to adapt it to anything I would (theoretically) own.

(For reference... Review: Voigtlander 15mm 4.5 III E aspherical for Sony E-Mount)

Other than a Voigtlander 20mm lens, I wasn't able to find anything on the wide angle side that was ever made for Pentax.

Can someone recommend me a lens that would behave, or have the same "look" as a wide angle voightlander, but in K mount? Or know of a Voigtlander that can actually be adapted to K mount?

Thanks in advance!

Actually....could this be adapted to K mount with the linked adapter?

On Pentax K-mount, the DA15mm Ltd is a very special wide angle lens. Highly recommended by many incl. myself.

While I have the DA15mm as well as 3 longer Voigltander lenses, I would tend to say that DA15mm gives a different (IMHO) feel from the VL lenses and I like it.

One of my favourite K-mount lens is the Voigtlander Nokton 58 mm f1.4. That is a very special one and you may consider it for a longer lens.

Hope that the thoughts might assist.

I can't help with Voigtlander options but if converted manual lens are okay with you there are several Zeiss options (15/2.8, 18/2.8, 18/3.5, and 21/2.8) that you can search for in Nikon mount that can be converted. The details for this can be found here: Nikon and Zeiss ZF lenses for Pentax cameras The last two actually come in K mount but good luck finding any for sale.

Leitax also do adaptors for Contax and Leica, there could be some options to consider there that fit.

I don't know if they adapt Voigtlanders but emailing Leitax will fill that blank in for you.

Good luck with finding a solution that fits the bill.

Zeiss makes a number of nice lenses in M42 which can be adapted. The widest current design I have seen is a 25mm 2.8 however.

Yes, Some of my buddies had the 125, 180 and 58/1.4. All said they were great lenses. Cannot be found 2nd hand in Singapore though.
