If you purchased a DA 16-45

What did you do with your 18-55?

Sell it?

Put it back in the Box and store it?

Set it aside to collect dust?

Carry it around with you just in case you need the extra 10mm?

This isn't a chatroom. Weekends are typically slow, and you shouldn't expect an instantaneous response.

However, if I were to purchase a 16-45, I would probably put the kit back in the box.

If I were to purchase a 16-45, I'd be using the kit lens for situations where the 16-45 may get damaged or touched a lot. eg. Using the camera around children while they are playing.

I'm quite aware that this isn't a chat room.

I don't think five hours would be considered "instantaneous".

But thanks for your comment.

Mine has been collecting space on the counter. I am trying to sell the one that came with the DS here but no takers. The one that came with the K10 is still in the box and never scene daylight. More then likely will sell that one as well.

I purchased the 16-45 as the kit lens. I'd probably do what Alvin said, use the 18-55 whenever it might be in danger.

I've recently purchased the DA 16-45. As it is my intention to uprgrade to the K10D, or its successor, sometime in the future, I'll probably need the 18-55 to sell with my K100D when the time comes. So, I put mine back into its original packaging with the little moisture protector and plastic wrap and put it back in the Kit box so that it will be available to sell.

Just my $ .02

racinsince55, you're welcome.

11, now 12 posts! Gee, that beats the 9 you got for the exact same query on DPR, although you had to resort to a "lookit-me"-bump here.
