Anyone with comments on the IQ of this lens. It appears to be fast (2.8) but wondering if quality make it worth to buy.

i had one for a while. it's a nice lens but at f2.8 rather soft. the vivitar series1 70-210, pentax M80-200, and the A70-210 are sharper thru out.

I was looking at one, cheap price around 70 usd but maybe I will hold for one of the above.

for 70usd i'd probably jump on it. if you don't like it double your money on ebay. they go for 150-200usd. at least the 2 i've seen did.

One of these just sold on eBay for $209. I'd like to get a lens in this range that's relatively sharp at 2.8. Any suggestions? There's the Tamron 80-200 2.8, is it better? I'm also considering the Sigma 70-200 2.8, but it's much more expensive.
I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but I figured the OP would like to see your answer too.
