Advice on best 35mm APS-C equivalent (K-70)?

The old Sigma 28mm f1.8 EX DG is great for this kind of thing. On a crop body I don't think there are a lot of great portraits taken with a wider lens than this. Not to say that it doesn't happen but it isn't what I would reach for. If the OP has an FA 31 then just skip it and use that.
