Topcor Auto-Topcor 58mm f1.4 (by Cosina) - who has one, owned one, shot with one?

just as it reads....

I've read about the lens and understand that it is Cosina-made and essentially an update of the original lens, but on either an M42 or a Nikon mount...

but finding anyone that actually owns one and has used it.... almost non-existent...

so - opinions, examples, etc...... watchyougot?

Did you see this thread?

Voigtlander 58mm f/1.4 vs. Topcor 58mm f/1.4 - anyone interested? - PentaxForums.com

I did a Google search after I remembered that the Cosina "Topcon" was the same lens as the Voightlander Nokton 58/1.4

I did - that thread is about the original RE Topcor lens, which the OP converted to k-mount...

I'm asking about the Cosina-made lens from earlier this century...

What do you want to know about it that you can't find in articles about the Cosina made Voightlander Nokton SL II? It's the same lens as the Cosina Topcor.

what I am after is there any difference - there are a number of years from the production of the Topcor until the production run of the Nokton and I'm curious about any changes, etc...

Voigtlander Bessaflex TM

The Nokton 58/1.4 SLII is derived from the limited edition M42 "Topcor" from the TM*, which, while cosmetically similar to the historic lens, was a new design.

What a "topic", a Cosina Topcon lens of yesteryear. I recall when the Nikon F and the Beseler Topcon system cameras were neck and neck sellers. Back in the day.
