I like the idea of a WR lens that covers common focal ranges, a great match for the body. Even if you aren't out in weather much, it's just handy.
The * lenses have better seals than a WR 18-55, f2.8, better everything except size/weight. You can always convert it to screwdrive if the SDM causes trouble. The DA 20-40 Limited has much less range and probably costs more. If you are thinking of a future of mostly Limited primes, it fits right in. Get a DA 70 and the 100mm WR macro. The very cheap solution is the DA or even DA-L 18-55 WR. The DA 18-135 is a good general purpose broad range zoom. I think you need one of these four. Which one depends on budget and future ideas.
