I've had good results with a Canon 500D close-up filter and my HD DA 55-300 (non-PLM). I don't know if it is 1:1, but it is still cool! Focusing is tough though, focus peeking in live view helps.
Good idea and nice real world examples.

Another possible suggestion

While not a true macro since it only goes to 1:2, the Sigma 28-80 Macro can produce some decent images.

Here it is in the review database.

And here is an article about using one version of the lens,

I wish you good fortune in your search for affordable macro options.

Or what about something like the F 35-70 which has a pretty good macro mode. Even better when the Raynox 150 is added.

Pentax 18-55 and 50-200 kit lens
Pentax 50 mm 1.8 and 35mm 2.4 prime
Tamron 18-50 2.8
Pentax a 50mm 1.7
If you are still interested because you have 50mm and 35mm lenses
i would recommend that you reverse mount one of them onto your camera

reverse mounting ring for pentax - Bing images

While this is not done with a pentax camera I used the 50mm 1.8 reverse mounted on a D800

Another combo you might consider is reverse mounting your 50mm to the front of your 50-200 something like this

Rings can be found cheap
Here i have done this again with nikon

that is a 70-200 with a pentax M 50mm1.7 reverse mounted on it

Look for a Vivitar 55 2.8 Macro. Excellent lens and can be found fairly cheap.

I bought about a year ago an SMC 100mm M Macro f/4 from a dealer in Japan on eBay for just 75 euros. It arrived beautifully packaged and in mint condition. It's a lovely lens to use, especially the focusing ring!
