Hey all -- Just dug out a K-mount 2x teleconverter that I got with a couple of film SLRs. I assumed it was a Sears unit, but lo and behold... it's branded JC Penney! Assuming they did not make their own, anyone know where they sourced their stuff?

I doubt they had a consistent source. It likely varied based on cost and I'd wager they used multiple contract partners over time.
