About DA* 60-250 on film body

Do you think the DA* 60-250 will do vignette on film? A year ago there was a rumour about DFA 60-250 and i was happy that i could mount it on my film camera. Some of the DA series lenses actually prform very well on full frame, so i was wondering about 60-250.

Doubtful- although it's still just talk at this point, since DA's aren't *supposed* to work on film.

If I were you I'd think that the DA* wouldn't fit film, so you don't get disappointed when it actually comes out. If it does work, you'll have an added bonus

The FA 80-320 F4-5.6 is a nice alternative, though, IMO.

I think there is a good chance it will NOT vignette.

The problem with the smaller imagecircle lies with the shorter focal lengths.
Sofar de zooms (and fixed focal lengths) I have been able to try do not
vignette from well below 30mm, so 60mm should be fine ...

Of course a different optical design may behave differently,
but I have good hopes the 60-250 (and the 50-135) will
be usable on film too.
