tamron sp 80*200/2.8

Hi,
I own a tamron sp 80*200/2.8 ( and a 300/2.8 which own a collar ) with a pentax 1.7X AF, good team for wildlife pics but heavy team.
Does anyone know if a collar exist for this zoom?
Because it's heavy and I think my K10d mount lens dislike this situation.
Thx for your answers.

If you can't find an original mount, you might try the Manfrotto 293 until you can.

Usually it increases the weight of the set up and contributes little to the image results.

I got a few including the shoulder mount as well. It really draws attention but does little to the photography results.

Are you talking about the manual focus version? It originally came with a collar. I have it. The collar is very light by the way but the lens is very heavy - I wouldn't use it on the tripod directly. Maybe you can find one on ebay, there are lots of chinese knock-offs for canon lenses, if you ask for the diameter maybe one fits. see a picture here: Tamron SP Adaptall-2 80-200mm F/2.8 LD Model 30A

Thank you for your answers.
It's the manual version 30A but I haven't collar on it.

I have a somewhat related question that I figured I could ask here instead of creating a new topic...

Does anyone know if the 1.4x TC (140F) will fit on this lens? From what I can see on a couple of photos it looks like the rear element of the lens sticks out too far. I bought one recently and it doesn't fit on either of my Adaptall lenses (SP 60-300 and 80-210).

And what about the SP 70-210 f/3.5?

Yeah - I've seen that, but it's the

that I was wondering about. I guess it should be understood as that in addition to the mentioned lenses the TC will only work with some of the wide-tele zooms, and no tele zooms?

If that's the case I'll probably end up selling it again since I haven't been planning on getting any of the supported lenses (except maybe for the 90mm).
