screwmount teleconvertor, which brand?

it seems that there are plenty of telecovertors for screw lenses; however for $9.99 is it even worth using because the IQ will not be good?

is there any good brand to use with the 400mm 5.6 super tak?

I use my Tamron x1.4 TC in K-mount ... then attached the screwmount into the TC ... and then screw on my M42 lenses .... it actually work quite nicely.
