I've been thinking about this for a couple days.
I'm an APS-C guy, so my camera of choice would be the K-New.
Lens #1 - HD 20-40 Ltd. I pondered this selection the longest, but every lens I considered requires significant compromises. I briefly owned the HD 20-40 - returned due to faulty AF - and was quite enamoured with its rendering.
Lens #2 - FA* 200/4 Maco. A lens I'd love to own, but would never buy due to cost. Heck, I'd be happy with the A* version.
Lens #3 - So tempted by the DFA 150-450.
Soooo tempted. But, I decided to dance with the girl who brung me - the A 400/5.6. Smaller & lighter than the big DFA, sharp stopped down just a little, a focus ring conducive to precise adjustments... yeah. Besides wildlife, it's my main lens for butterfly photography, too - nimble for so much range. I'd take along the A 1.4x-L Rear Converter.
