I wouldn't sell that 10-20 either unless you have plans to pick up something else wider than 18, like a DA 15, DA 12-24, or Sigma 8-16. Group photos is one place I've used my DA 15 that I didn't think would ever happen but it was that or not getting the shot. I really regretted not getting a lens that wide sooner.
I've been exceptionally happy with the DA12-24, even on the K1. Cropped as needed FF on the widest apertures of course but all good at 18 and up, maybe a little wider?

Except the OP does not have that lens to consider selling.

FWIW, since my wife now shoots Pentax DSLR, I have both the Sigma 10-20 and the DA 12-24. I recently bought the 12-24 and am glad that I did and prefer it's versatility. Not really relevant to the OP though.

I thought about it after reading all your suggestions and looking thru my photos to see what kind of focal distans I usually end up with.

So I bought:

Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 DS Art

Pentax 18-135mm 3,5-5,6 WR

Got them for great prices second hand and they are close to new.

Decided to sell my

Sigma 18-200mm

Sigma 10-20mm

Pentax 50mm macro

Lensbaby

So I end up with:

Sigma 18-35mm

Pentax 18-135mm

Pentax 35mm

Pentax 50mm

Laowa 60mm macro 2:1

I feel really happy with this setup and it covers every area for my photography needs.

And in the future I probably buy the Sony A7 III (or IV when it comes out). And use my Pentax mostly for landscape with the Art lens being my primary lens of choice.
You could also buy a Ricoh/Pentax K-1 and use the lenses you have already got and buy the 24-70 or the 28-105. In terms of handling both camera's you will not get confused. And yes a Sony A7 III LOOKS nice and that really is the only good quality of the camera. But with a Ricoh/Pentax you can make pictures...

Yep, I've got both now as well, having had the DA 12-24mm for many years, and the versatility aspect is different between them- meaning either at the longer or the wider end. I love going super-wide with the Sigma, and sometimes appreciate its extra half stop in low light.

20mm on APS-C is pretty versatile (think DA 21mm Limited), but as a 24mm lens, the DA 12-24mm is indeed good as a walk-around general purpose focal length to be sure, as would a 35mm wide/normal on a FF body, then you can go wider angle as needed.

Hi MNB

I'd keep the Sigma 10 - 20 ....... unless you have plans for something different.

Selling all ready aquired lenses .... do people do that..

I sure hope it can be a learned behavior.

Seriously, I have duplicate lenses and unused gear like ND's I really should be selling and "yeah buts" and "what if's" are interfering
