If you want to have a play with mine, I'm up in the Sutherland Shire and happy to do a bit of a shoot some time.

Doese HSM chew up much battery on AF.C? or is it about the same as any other screw-drive?

Have a good one!

^^ Bite the Bullet, grab the Bull by its horns etc, ordered the sigma today and hopeful it will arrive by Friday. As I placed my order I info the shop(Camera house) that the old catalogue is close word to word to the Paxton one.hes answer was it run by the same company CH.

In the mean time Im waiting to test it with the Tamron TC 1.4=280mm @ f/4 or buy the sigma TC 2X and I will have 400mm @ F/5.6,,Its all good

Congrats on the purchase. Was the camera house price the same as paxtons too?

FYI the sigma TC doesn't work with HSM (yet - sigma should be releasing an updated version soon).

I'm not sure about the tamron TC, but be prepared for disappointment.

Tamron TC works with HSM on the DA* lenses.
