Hi guys.
I was wondering if there is a tripod collar with this piece bigger, that fits a human hand. I can't find nothing online.

Thanks.

Isn't the idea that it fits a tripod mount? What does the human hand have to do with it?

Enquiring minds need to know.

The nodal ninja works quite well, don’t forget to get a foot as well.

Sure, but there are a multitude of better ways of carrying such a combination. After all the DA*300 is actually a pretty light lens.

Options include a sling strap, a capture clip, holding the lens by the barrel, and no doubt many others. If you really need a big juggy handle, I guess you could buy a DA* 60-250 and use that tripod foot - but that seems like a pretty expensive solution to a trivial problem.

I would just attach a quick-release plate, or something like that, to the OEM foot. Cheaper, and easier to find a size/shape to match your hand.

How about something like this>ChromLives Camera Handle Grip Support Mount Universal: Amazon.co.uk: Camera & Photo,

or this>Fantaseal Camera Hand Grip, Ergonomic Handle Selfie: Amazon.co.uk: Camera & Photo,

or even a table top tripod>Manfrotto MTPIXI-B, PIXI Mini Tripod with Handgrip for: Amazon.co.uk: Camera & Photo.

These are only suggestions, not recommendations!

You could try a plate like this. Desmond Long Quick Release Plate (200mm) DLR-2002 B&H Photo Video

There are not many custom plates made for Pentax lenses, especially current ones. The nodal ninja option here is one of them, i think the only one for a current Pentax lens, and does exactly what you want.

Sandy, I amended your comment in the quoted text. Perhaps Fucio7 is like me and does not like straps - especially when carry a longer lens. I personally like a wrist strap for safety and carry my k-3ii/Sigma 150-500 by the mounting foot - the foot even has finger grooves cast in it, so Fucio7 and I are not the only ones doing this.

A bunch of dead or defunct links isn't very helpful.

I think the OP means something like this.
As Aggiedad explained above, I also carry my lens by the tripod foot some times when not using a tripod.
