A couple of bokeh shots from yesterday, conditions were a bit poor but really wanted to try out f1.4. Even though it was drab and overcast, the lens produced intensely saturated images. I actually find myself turning down the saturation at times (unheard of for me!).

Slight processing, there's no lens profile available in LR yet, so I have done some manual corrections.

Really enjoying it so far (despite the wallet ache!).

Some offerings of mine

A few shots from the garden snapped this afternoon...

No sharpening or clarity added - just some shadows, highlights, contrast (lowering mainly) and exposure adjustments.

New toy arrived today and managed to grab a few shots between the showers. My initial impression both from what I can see and from the images others have posted is that this lens is going to be a classic. it gives a "Limited" feel to the images, in fact it may be better !!

Both at 1.4 of course

Well, I hate to add to the cruelty, but I just got the call. My lens has arrived. I’m just finishing lunch and am on my way to get it.

Good to know, and the last I checked Adorama said it was ready to ship but what I was wondering was whether anyone had one in hand yet.
