Lenses with special character in bokeh

So which K mount lenses are able to produce this beautiful, creamy, swirly bokeh like Auto-Takumar 35mm f2.3, Biotar 75mm...etc?

You could adapt either of the lenses you mentioned. That failing...

KMZ Helios 44K-4 in either MC or non-MC versions. I found mine attached to a Zenit Automat.

The Takumar 35/2.3 is a special lens. I don’t think you’ll find much that will behave exactly like that. Best to get a Tak35/2.3 and an adapter.

Yep, have been thinking of Helios but 40-2 85mm, quite expensive.

Really impressive images I've seen, yes. I've just also heard that it's very hard to get good copy.

Reading a review of it, really good thing. Terrible edge sharpness by the way but who cares, it's an art lens really!

However, if I may suggest, buy a KMZ Helios 44-2 58mm f/2 in M42 mount.
Buy a genuine M42 screw lens to K-Mount body adapter.
Even with APS-C bodies, you can achieve nice swirl

The Helios 44M (original with 8 blades & A/M switch) produces the same bokeh as the 44-2. I'll bet the 44K does as well...

If I'm not mistaken 44m was produced lately, and as I know this character goes away accordingly from 44-2 to past.

My 44M produces swirl even on APS-C, the wide base means it doesn't wobble like the 44-2. The first version of the 44M began production in the 1970s but mine is post Soviet, produced in Belarus in the early 90s for export.

I briefly compared three variants a few years back and found them more or less equal in terms of the swirl effect:

Which Helios-44 produces the best "swirl"... 44-2, 44M & 44M-4 tested - PentaxForums.com

I wonder if the swirl of the lady is the actual subject of this image?

I think it's slightly recomposed to the left, isn't it?
