Hello,
I just bought a new DA 12-24, which doesn’t come with a lens pouch. What are others using?

I just keep it in one of my camera backpacks with both lens caps on but the large hood stored separately.

Hi Terry

I use a Tanrac 4220 lens case it fits with the hood in the stored position.

I made one out of cheap foamy hiking mattress material. Two overlapping cylinders and a gaffer tape hinge for the lid. Hood slots over the bottom. Used the kids heat glue.

B&H also has belt loop holster cases for lenses. I like that type. The right size can also serve to accommodate the most often-used all-around zoom lens. With the wide angle DA 12-24mm carried in the case to have available, the case can still be used when swapping to put it on the camera instead.

Just look under Photography> bags & cases.

I have bought 4 packs of neoprene lens pouches from Amazon in the past, they are cheap and useful.
