Here are some pics of different grades of hoya uv filters showing the reduction in reflection between single coated, multi coated, and Super multi coated: Multi coated Hoya 'DMC' (Digital Multi-Coated) vs single coated Hoya  Super Multi-Coated 'Super HMC' vs 'DMC'  Note that 'Pro-1' filters are just thinner - the glass is either 'MC', 'DMC' (just a change for the sake of marketing), or Super HMC (7 layer, 2 sided coating).
