Lens Tamron 70-200 ...K200 not reading right?

Sorry to hijack this thread. Is the Tamron 70-200 compatible with the k100D (not k100D Super)?

It should be as it is not SDM/HSM and uses the old screw drive autofocus (ie the motor in the body)

Did you ever get any good pictures with the 70-200? Did you figure out what went wrong?

I did this weekend. I'm still not sure what happened, but the reshoot turned out well. I must have messed up something in the camera settings. I reset it all back to factory and it turned out fine. I took some more shots of different things this weekend and all looked quite well. I posted some pics in the Photo forum.

Thanks for everyone's attempts to help me figure it out.
