I agree but that applies across the board with just about anything. It has the first years Pentax warranty, any extra is covered by the supplier but I hope I never need to test this.

Haven't done too bad over the last couple of years. Had a Tilley hat which came apart after about 10 years. Tilley replace it FOC. Same with a relatively new Paramo jacket which they took back and did a good repair after a minor issue. Best of all we had a pepper mill with a broken lid, made by Cole & Mason. We inquired to see if we could get a replacement part. They said they were guaranteed for life and as that one was no longer made, we could choose a set worth up to £70, which they duly supplied. The lid on that one has also just broke, and they said they would also replace this with a new set. Now that is good service.
