I voted anyway, having not tried, used, seen, touched or had any other contact with any of the lenses involved. I voted based on what I would most like to use and the direction I'd most like lens development to take.

It's only DPR after all.

The polls are pretty much irrelevant - roughly, it's the systems with more users and Sigma. But at least we're saying, hey, there are more of us than you'd think.

Yup - I voted yesterday - as @Kunzite says, let them know we're out here- roughly 36 people have voted so far for the Pentax (3.6% of 1004) - that's more Pentaxians than they give credit for already!

The total is right at the bottom of the % listings - total only, but you can get the approximate numbers for each lens from the %, obviously

I have the new 85, and it is truly incredible. So I have voted accordingly. Of course I have used none of the other lenses, so my vote (as are probably everyone else's) means essentially nothing.

As an aside, I didn't know Fuji had produced a 50/1.0. The results I have seen from their older 56/1.2 are wonderful, so this new lens might be another candidate for the gong.
