Pentax K-Mount Lenses 1986

The photo brochures from Pentax have always presented their cameras and camera equipment in a matter-of-fact and informative way - matter-of-factly and straightforwardly. This Pentax brochure from 1986 lives up to this tradition. Below a link to Pentax's 1986 range of the K-Mount lenses.

Thanks for posting. I bought my first Pentax (Super Program) in 1985. This will remind me once again why I first chose Pentax and have never looked elsewhere.

Thanks for showing, I have an earlier version that has just K and M lenses and lots of accessories, and is undated.

Pentax glass seems to have left an iconic character.

I'd like to bring up the project to collect pentax catalogs:
Place to post scans of camera and lens manuals -
Pentax brochures -

It would really help to collect postings (and threads) there, so that forum members are able to find it (easier).

Thanks for posting this. It seems the lens lineup was more complete in those days than currently, at least when it comes to prime lenses. But ah, no Limited, and zooms were not as advanced as today's.

I still have the K Series booklet that I got with my first Pentax (KX) back in late 1975. Lots of great info in these booklets.
