Does anyone have a copy of the original lens hood for this lens? If so, would you please me so kind as to measure how deep it is?

I have the lens but the hood I have is for the 85/1.8, but I don’t use it often because I use one from a longer lens when shooting on a crop sensor.

However depth is only part of the equation, the impact for vignetting is a function of format, (FF be APSC) and diameter of the hood,

If you search for an uploaded file called hoodCalc.zip you can, with a few measurements on the lens, determine the maximum hood length you can use without vignetting

It measures 33mm. Pic looks like 34mm, but on a hard surface it's 33mm.

Brilliant, thank you. I have a third party hood and I know it is OK on APS-C, but I wanted to check it would be OK 35mm before I use a roll of film!
