After reading this and my unfortunate afair with the Pentax wide zoom, I think Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 EX DC HSM remains at the top of my wish list even at 3 times the price of Tamron

What happened with the Pentax wide zoom? (I assume you mean the 12-24)

I thought the SIgma 10-20 and the Tamron 10-24 were very close in price.
