US$376 sounds like a great deal; they're going to steal the market at that price.

And they don't actually have it in stock, it's on "special order", which means:

The item is not normally stocked due to minimum order requirements, random availability, or lack of customer demand. However, we would be pleased to order any Special Order item for you. My mistake. I emailed them and they indicated that they could have it available in about 5 days. Not sure they can deliver after all which is too bad as i'd probably pick one up.

I've been waiting for this lens for a few months. Just need some user reviews asap...whose going to be the first to test drive??? If the Tamron reviews are not positive, then I'm getting the DA 12-24.

Hmmm... I bought a Sigma 10-20 rather than wait for this Tamron. I'm interested because my Tammy 28-75 is such a great lens. I have no issues with the Sigma, but the slightly wider range would be nice.

I too will be interested in lens reports/user reviews and images from this lens.

According to the canadian distributor this lens will not be available until mid-february. the red headed step-child waits as usual

I was hoping to replace my lost-in-the-mail sigma 10-20mm (sent in for repair due to focusing problems) with this lens. Since this was my main side income producer, i decided to pick up a da12-24mm replacement. made an offer thru prodigital2000 on ebay and snagged one for US $480 (due favorable US to Can dollar exchange rate). giving up the 2mm for better image quality seemed like a good idea and the price was definitely right.
