I have a 1.4x TC and do not recall having exposure problems due to the change in aperture value. My thinking is, the camera has an incoming light-reading meter to determine correct exposure for the scene. If I am shooting in Manual mode will the meter indicator reading the light as to being centered for balanced exposure be wrong with the TC attached? The TC will reduce incoming light, so I presume the meter will read that reduction.
