$500-600 would be reasonable for a mint copy. It's a great lens- search the forum for more info

depends.
usually 300-700usd. 500 is a fair price. this one looks pretty good. i love mine but it's a whole different technique. you'll also need a good steady tripod and a good head. next week i'll order a bogen3421. i think my legs are sturdy enough. you have to be pretty dedicated to use this lens as you just don't pull it out of the bag and start shooting. i wish i had 2 bodies to use.

I appreciate the replies, but I think I need to clarify.

As much as I would love to own this lens, I have ZERO use for it. My interest in the going rate on it was purely mercenary. I was contemplating picking it up for a fast turn-around on eBay, in the hopes of profiting enough to pick up a lens I would actually have some use for.

nothing wrong with being mercenary. i just wish i could do it more often. nothing wrong with buying cheap and selling high. capitalism at it's finest.

edit: i have seen 2 of these go for just over 300usd on ebay.
