What? and deprive you of the pleasure of the hunt???

Seriously, I do have a few duplicates but that is not one of them, so it's not for sale. As I remember I had a difficult time finding it...

Jim, you should put some of your dups up for sale here in the Marketplace section of the forum when you get a chance! I for one would be honored to own a "King" lens!

6 and counting see sig. In search of MY ideal kit. If I'm taking 4 lenses with me for the day, I'll use all 4, so all lens are used regularly and I learn more about each lens. If I'm not using a lens, then I'm selling it and moving on...just like a relationship

Not to brag, but I've collected a *LOT* of lenses over the past 4 years. My DPR profile has a more complete list but I haven't been able to edit it recently to bring it completely up to date.

Here's a summary list of my lenses which will fit Pentax (including duplicates) by category:

137 K-mount primes (I have all of them except for a very few of the super-teles)
45 K-mount zooms
41 M42 Primes
3 M42 zooms
19 Tamron Adaptall-2
----
245 Total

Don't ask why...
Because we love you! Don't change a thing! We have to have someone uniquely different in the LBA championship, the very King that I admire dearly.

My king, can you spare me a K105....PLEASE
it's a very nice lens, but I too have no intention of parting with it. decided I liked it better than the SMC-M100 F2.8, and this is the only 105 ever made in K mount.

If you want an M100F2.8 the one I passed on might still be in the shop.,

A mere 10 at the moment - covet another half a dozen . I acutally tallied up all my photographic receipts the other day I should take a break (seeing how I started not that long ago).

I wil probably pass a couple off to my daughter though so that makes room for two more

Dang! That number is impressive. If I did that, my wife would beat me at least once with all 245, and then give me the bill for her divorce lawyer.

Just curious, but what pray tell is a "colormonger"?

Hello,

Maybe, too many:

- All the Takumars, from 24mm up to 200mm, except the 120/2.8 and the 150/4
- Zeiss 20 (2.8 and 4), 35 (2.4 and 2.8), 50 (1.8 and 2.8), 135/3.5, 180/2.8
- Old Nikkors 28/2.8, 35/2, 135/2.8 and Micro 55/3.5
- Some Meyer-Goerlitz, from 35mm up to 100mm
- Sigma Apo 50-200 and 70-300
- Tamron SP90/2.5
- Pentax-K 85/1.8 and A 50/1.7
- DA 18-55 and FA-43 Limited
- A few others from Kiron, Isco and Enna

Would like to sell some, to raise funds for an FA-31, but cannot decide what to sell ...
While some of them have the same focal length (i have 8 35mm), they render the light and the bokeh in a different way (some comparisons on my blog) ... Switching from, say, an SMC Takumar 35/2 to a Flektogon 35/2.4 will allow you to take a totally different picture of the same scene, and without PP with Gimp or Photoshop ...

The most dificult is to choose the lenses when going out to take pictures ...

Best regards

Woah when you put it like that I have over 1,000 lenses. And to think they all (well except the bigma) fit into two large highboy drawers.

Well if you have any TC's in the collection then we'll have to call on pingflood to do the math as to the actual number of lens combos you own. Impressive collection for sure Jim.
