I have just seen thread about how many lenses do we own, and one member suggested, to start another poll...
so guys, out of those lenses we have, how many do we really use?
Out of my 9 I reguraly use 5 (usually carry around 3-4 depending on what lenses and what occasion).
And I'll let you guess which one is my most used lens.

I use all of mine. I take about 20+ photos with each lens at least once a fortnight. As for weekly I'd use 3 - DA35, DA*50-135 & Sig 17-70. I decided my vote would be for "more than 5".
I don't see the point in having a lens if you don't use it.

Since I only have three lenses, I use all of them quite a bit. There's a normal zoom, the DA40, and a 70-300 tele zoom in there, so there's little redundancy. The 18-55 II would be my main workhorse though.

When shooting family or events I mostly use my zoom setup, i.e. the DA*16-50/2.8 and DA*50-135/2.8. For travel I add the FA*300/4.5 for wildlife and the Tamron SP90/2.8 for macro. Depending on the destination these get more use than the zooms.

For city trips and specific photo outings that don't require weather sealing or fast response, I prefer my compact "limited" kit, i.e. the DA21/3.2, FA31/1.8, FA43/1.9 and FA77/1.8.

Lately I'm using the DA10-17 fisheye a lot too. I like this lens a lot.

So for the moment I'm using 9 lenses frequently.

I'm hoping to add the DA15/4 to the limited kit in the near future.

MY most used are the sigma 10-20mm (being replaced with pentax 12-24mm), da 35mm macro and the f*300mm

I have quite a few lenses. Takumars, K, M, A, a few FA and even a DA. but in all honesty my smc-M 50mm 1.7 get used more than any other lens, probably combined.

From graphy spreadsheet thingy table, (you can tell I'm technical), that's some kind of wide lens, the one at 0mm, used 140 times

My vote was with the three to five group (actually used on daily basis, four), namely 50mm f1:1.2, 85mm F1:1.4, 135mm F1:1.8 and 200mm f1:2.8 (the last three being green star versions).

I use my Tamron 17-50mm for everyday use. For night photography, I use my Tamron 28-75mm and on occasion I use the 50mm 1.4 for low light situations, like when I'm in an aquarium.

I've got quite a few lenses but normally use only about five of them. Depending on my mood and the subject I use the K 300 4 and K 200 2.5 about the same amount. These two are closely followed by the DA 70 2.4 and A 100 2.8 macro. The K 24 2.8 rounds out the set. I carry this group at all times along with a M 50 1.4 and M 35 2.

The rest of the lenses in my signature are seldom used and the zooms hardly ever.

I voted 3-5, but the 3-5 change weekly

although, the 43 and 35's Takumar and Yashinon do tend to take more than their share of camera time. Oh and the 16-45.

Jealous... I want that lineup too...

The ones that I always have in my bag and use are: 18-28mm, M28/2.8, 35mm/3.5, 50mm/1.4, 135mm/2.5, A70-210mm/4. Of those the 50mm sits on most of the time, and then it's quite evenly distributed between the rest. Six out of a total 16 lenses get used regularly. Yes a couple of them are just passing through. Anyone interested in some f2.0 50's?

This is what I use. In order but I like to use them all...When that green band shines in the sunlight I know that I am shooting with something great and that stands out in a crowd of Cankion!

Helios 44-m 58mm F2
Jupiter 9 85mm
Da 40
DA 50-200
Vivi Series 1 105mm (winter slows down the macro)
