Identify this lens?

I recently bought a Pentax ME Super and it was shipped with this lens. No intentions of using it as it's pretty battered, but wondered if anyone knows what make/model this lens is? Fairly sure it has a focal length of 35mm. Also has a serial number on the other side starting with PK.

My guess is a Vivitar (Komine) 35mm f/2.8

EDIT: I think it is actually the 28mm

Quick wipe with a lens cloth and it will be good as new

Looks like a Komine made 28/2.8. Though it could be a 35 I guess.

Upgraded my guess from 35mm to 28mm -- the focus scale is from the 28mm.

Looking down its throat, it appears a demon lives there...

Alas, the Ricoh Imaging designer accidentally dropped the only hand-crafted prototype of the new 28mm Limited. Down the stairwell it tumbled to the landing, where it was swept up by the floor-cleaning machine.

Oh, nothing to fear just yet. It's a harmless DVD of the Wim Wenders' Selbastio Salgado documentary...

I'll take your word for it but that figure at the top certainly seems demonic. I'll calm down now, though....

As opposed to others here I am convinced that this is a Cosina made 28mm. Everything (DOF indicator, focusing scale, shape, S/N marking starting with PK) perfectly matches the "Cosina 28mm 1:2.8 MC". But I have never came across a Cosina branded variant of this lens with this particular rubber. However, mostly in the UK, the Miranda branded version of this Cosina lens was sold in fairly large quantities in the early eighties.
Therefore I would guess Miranda 28mm 1:2.8 MC. I can provide pictures of the Cosina and Miranda version of the lens for comparison in a PM, but as I don't own the copyright of the pictures I prefer not to post them here.

It's not a Kiron/Kino because they put the lens info on the barrel near the filter ring. Although the lettering could have rubbed off.

And call it a rare unknown prototype since the lens id beauty ring is missing
