When I bought the K1 (instead of ... a D810), one of the reason was that I already had the Tamron 28-75, the Tamron 70-200 2.8 and the DFA100. But, when I compared images shot with both my Tamron 28-75 and Pentax D-FA 24-70, the 24-70 was significantly sharper at edges and corners (at least the copy I tried was much better). So I sold my Tamron 28-75 and bought the Pentax 24-70. That said, I also bought the Pentax D-Fa 28-105, and my copy is sharper than my D-FA 24-70. The D-FA 28-105 is also cheaper and perhaps even smaller than the Tamron 28-75.
