Former DA* zoom owners

If you've sold your 16-50 and /or 50-153 zooms, do you regret it?
With film I had a prime kit for quality and a small zoom for snaps. With digital, I decided to go with quality zooms, and find myself missing the old setup I had. The zooms are all I need quality wise, and it's a scary prospect selling them. The ideal prime kit would be 15mm, 35mm macro, and 70mm, with my 180mm when I needed the length.
Any opinions?
Thanks, Ryan

Well, I sold ALL of my Pentax stuff to go to Canon, and my DA* 50-135mm was probably my favorite lens. I now use the Canon 70-200mm f/4 IS for similar types of photos. They both have great image quality, but one thing I liked about the Pentax was it started out at 50mm instead of 70mm. This makes a BIG difference when shooting indoors. It's also one stop faster, which is nice. I could have bought the Tokina 50-135 for Canon, but wanted the Canon for its USM (REALLY fast Autofocus) and IS.

Why sell? The 50-135 complements a set of wide(r) primes perfectly and you don't really sacrifice that much space/weight compared to a 70-200 zoom.
