A present - should be something with a star!

This is a story I really want to share...

A few days ago I celebrated my birthday. My three-year old daughter had gone to a shop with my girlfriend and she had chosen a present that she wanted to give me. A present she thought I would want to have.

"It should be something with a star", the little girl must have thought and she gave me this decoration thing.

Did I ever talk about the Pentax ''stellar''-lenses when she was around? No doubt about that! Or else she can read my dreams.

So I was pretty amazed to see how well this three-year-old child of mine had understood her daddy's wishes...

She is so cute! And if she smiles, the stars in her eyes are worth more than any star on any material thing one could think of!

Isn't it grand to be wrapped around a very young lady's little finger? Happy Belated Birthday.

Yes a very happy birthday and I can see that you got everything (and more) that you wished for. The added bonus is it appears to make a good topper for this years Christmas tree.

Great shot with her in the background.

When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires will come to you

If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star as dreamers do

(Fate is kind, she brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of their secret longing)

Like a bolt out of the blue, fate steps in and sees you thru
When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true

Thank Lloydy, I didn't know that song. Gonna look it up in Youtube. Now that I am looking a bit closer, one could say thah the shape of my daughter's present resembles the shape of a *300/2.8 pretty much, don't you think?

Or is it just symptomatic for my LBA, seeing in every conic thing a resemblance to a lens?
