The DA 16-85mm did live on my K70 until I broke it. Now the camera alternates that space with a DA 16-45mm and the 55-300mm plm until I get the 16-85 repaired.

The K-3 has shown itself to be rather fond on the Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.0 (C). I am rather fond of it too and so it is that we three make a lot of nice pictures.

Since I bought it 10 years ago, my Tamron 17-50/2.8.
On the ist D*
on the K-10D
and on the K-70.

No need for primes in its focal range.
To be fair, if the 18-135 finds it way onto the K-70, it will stay there until I need the 2.8 of the Tamron again.

None. I try to excersise most my lenses, and I have too many favorites.
Likewise, but when going out on a hike or other exercise I start off with the FA 77 Limited. Only change that if the situation needs a longer or shorter focal length.

I have a K1 and a K1-II. normally, if the D FA 29-105 is on one camera, my D FA 150-450 lens is no the other. Other lenses as needed. On my K3, a Sigma 17-70 is my usual lens.

Since I only use mine for landscape photography, I think the only lens I've ever used is the F 35-105 F4-5.6.
I mostly hike and we all know the camera itself is quite heavy and I don't want either a heavy lens or a 2nd one in my bag!

That's the lens I bought with my K-1ii and it does spend a lot of time on the camera. I found a used 20-35 Pentax autofocus lens (really lightweight) that is beginning to spend more and more time on the camera.

Mine used to be the DA 35mm Limited but now the HD FA 35/2 takes over much of that time.

For the K-3, that's easy - it's the 100mm macro, because macro is 80-90% of what I use that camera for since I got the K-1

For the K-1, it's a question of what lens is on the camera when I walk out into a situation, though I often have another 1 or more with me -
for urban use that tends to be the 31mm Ltd (with the other two in my bag)
for landscape it's the DFA 24-70

Life is too short to stick to just one lens. Also, I have far too many. No playing favorites here.

Just as the title says what is the lens that you use most and is most likely always sitting on your camera?
On my Ricoh XR7 (35mm manual focus film camera) it's my Pentax M 50mm f1.7. Once in a while it's my Kiron 28mm f2.0.

On my K-5 II it's probably my Sigma 28mm EX DG f1.8. Or my Ricoh 105mm f2.8 Macro for film copying. I would like to get a new digital camera in the next year (probably a K-3 III) and the Ricoh 105mm will be on the K-5 II 100% of the time.
