Pentax * 2.8/11-16 on Pentax K-3III - how good it is?

Dear colleagues, good afternoon.
I am considering purchasing a K-3III and a lens * 2.8 / 11-16. Please tell me how good is this lens?
Now I use Sigma EX 3.5-4.5 / 11-15 on K-3 and K-5 IIs - unfortunately, the results are far from ideal. On open apertures, the edges are very blurred, the situation improves when aperture is set to 11, but then the effect of diffraction becomes clearly visible in the center.
What is the Pentax lens in this respect?

I believe you are looking for comparison of Sigma 10-20 to Pentax DA* 11-18?

I use the 11-18 on my K-3 Mark II. It is a very good lens and gives you enjoyable results. I never was a "wide-angle man" but this lens, I was smitten. I often walk through the woods and it is sheer joy to be able to get more of a tree in the picture if it has a special form (which is what I like to take pictures of, dead trees or trees without leaves that is). I like the way it handles colour which comes across as very natural. You won't regret buying this DA* 11-18mm.

The only 11-16/2.8 I have seen is the Tokina AT-X and I'm not sure if it is even available in K mount.

Da* 11-18/2,8

This lens is the best that you can get. The only lens that could replace it is Sigma 8-16 because of the field of view.

11-18/2,8 is the lens you need if you want to use it for reports (especially in late evenings), sharpness at 2,8 is pretty good, AF is fast enough. For nonWR shooting on tripods, there are some other options.

Support for everything said above. The DA*11-18 is a stellar lens. Check the user Lens Reviews. You won't be disappointed!
