oh geez that was a close call viz. Good to hear you made it out in one piece!

Ah I have a similar setup...minus the 400mm. Too tedious to remove the adapters the standard way so I removed the retaining clip off my pentax adapter and drilled holes on my Jupiter-9 and CZJ135.

My 3rd party one is tighter than the pentax one so I use that for my takumar and turn it about half way until the resistance from the clip is high enough that the lens won't unmount, but the clip won't lock either. (I'm lazy haha)

I tried to unscrew the adapter off the lens but no luck, that's also why I convert the lens itself.

Anyways here are some photos I took with the 400mm, except the first photo of course
