Sigma 50-500

I have a app dg 50-500. Has anyone tried a tamron 1.4 and kendo 1.5 on this lens

I've used a Kenko X1.4 and X2 on this lens and performance is pretty satisfactory. Performance depends on the IQ of the main lens and the 55-500mm Sigma falls off slightly at 500mm so you'll find some softness at that end and tele-converters exaggerate this. Depending on your camera, you might be better off cropping, but tele-converters do work satisfactorily. The biggest downside is the loss of light you'll encounter and autofocus may not work at all (I used manual focus with magnification in my application).
