I had it on my camera on my wedding day and snapped some photos when the photographer was otherwise occupied. Got some amazing portraits. The FOV is not my favourite on digital, but I think it'll get more use in the next while.

This one I took yesterday. Did some enhancements with colour curves but no retouching as such.

Michael... I hope you are happy with this great lens... I get LBA each time I open a 43 or 31 ltd thread.... I like the shot of your dog too.. is it a Visla?

Gooshin... so much to look at in such a simple shot.

Rparmar.. a difficult shot I would think (well done) and a lot of red and pink in the shot... was this where the colour was adjusted?

Fantastic photo James

Jay... as usual great photos. The toy looks like a cross between Albert Einstein and that guy from Back To The Future

Back to fighting off my LBA... the wife has said she would get me either of the above limiteds for xmas, just need to say which .... but I am holding back still

Hi Michael,
Love the dog shot....."who..? me?" Innonence personified.

Here is my humble contribution to the 43Ltd. It is a lens I reluctantly take off the camera.

Cheers.

That shot has a fairly complex set of adjustment curves to get a "look" I was going for. I must say that the FA43 gives me great material to work with out of the lens. Here are two that are more straight-forward.

Yes... She's a devious 6+ year old Vizsla.

Regarding your wife's kind and understanding offer... I'd suggest she get you a FA 43 Ltd then (you ) can follow it up with a DA 70 Ltd. Nothing against an FA 77 (except price ). When paired to a K20D, the 43 and 70 really dance!

Cheers...

Ha! Glad you enjoy it.

Actually, I call it "...or Else."

She loves to go for a run... even when there's a raging snow storm outside (as there was at the time).

Best wishes per the season...

I already have the FA 77ltd

I have been holding off getting the 43 and 31 due to my happiness with results gained with my DA 16 - 50. But I must admit I love the feel and quality of the 77ltd and long for another limited.

Fighting LBA can be difficult

Oops... I misread your post... I can't speak to a 16-50 AND a 43 (or 31) but it sounds like you may be in luck and have your bases well covered with the zoom.

Enjoy the season...

thanks, i think you gave me a hint as to why this is the only shot of my tea pot that i kept

since its right on my kitchen island all the time, this is a very common "test" shot for me, and i usualy chuck all of the, but this one i kept, and i dont know why

but i think its exactly because there is so much to look at
