That's way to harsh! There has been countless very nice outdoor and landscape shots. The way wood lying on the grass becomes cyan is a bit troublesome but it should be a one click thing in any decent postprocessing software and probably in camera as well.

It seems to do trees against sky very well as long as it's not overcast or very diffused light. That's one subject that's been very well covered by samples. Even if few have been full size.

You could be right - but I'll keep playing outside with mine

Nicely done.
First inning (as opposed to outing) with mine, testing the f/2.4 setting in low light:

OOF areas are pleasantly smooth, and centre sharpness even wide open was reasonably impressive...

It seems to be delivering what was promised! Great close focus ability, slight "glow" (yet still sharp) on some subjects, beautiful OOF highlights (look at the foreground of the book spine) - I think you're going to have fun Ash

Keep sharing

I believe it's a keeper, and I haven't taken it off f/2.4 yet...
My only issue now is that I have no time to take it out for a good test run in the field for a little while...

Here! One more volunteer for the job. I know! It is though and full rapport will follow, and still I’m ready!

Same here, and in this part of the world it is dark when I go to work and dark when I go home so I have to wait for the weekend.

Before ordering I'm waiting for Ricoh to have ironed out the production quality, unless Santa Klaus accidentally deliver one under the Christmas tree. Accidents do happen sometimes, especially with LBA, decisions can spin out of control.

Ash is right - it's well worth using this little beauty indoors as well as out!

Anyone guess what's for Dinner tonight?

I'm guessing mushrooms, sellery, tomatoes and two types of onion. Eaten just like that in bokeh sauce!
