Originally posted by arpaagent Currently they are destined for use on my K200D, although I might give the spotmatic a spin to see how it does. One of the reasons I like taks on my DSLR (vs K or M) is that I can use Av mode and don't have to pres the green button, although do have to get the exposure compensation right for different apertures, but that's not too hard. That way I can stop down 1 stop, still be able to manually focus just fine, and still shoot in Av mode. Of course the K and M lenses are a bit more convenient since you don't have to fiddle with adapters.
I'm not sure which of these I'll use the most...I was really looking for a nice 135/2.5, and this fit the bill. And of course I'll need to try out the 20/4.5, that would should produce some nice images, but feel like I'm losing a bit from it due to the crop factor (but then again, I gain some on the 135 tele end).
Just for fun, you might want to try the camera and the taks together with some modern color neg film (say Ektar 100) and have the negs scanned to digital. These old lenses really shine when used with the media size they were designed for and the results should be fairly striking.
