I have to stop reading the forum!!!

Once more, the forum has bit me!! Started reading this and had to go find a copy - ran across one on eBay and bought it! Dang!

But, thanks for finding it and bring it to our attention.

Excellent jsherman!

Please keep on posting pages from the book! I like the coffee stains also :-)

About the normal lens use, here's some more readings to consider, specially the first page of these documents discussing general design intentions,

50-60mm lenses: http://en.leica-camera.com/assets/file/download.php?filename=file_1887.pdf

80-100mm lenses: http://en.leica-camera.com/assets/file/download.php?filename=file_1884.pdf

Jay, My copy is in pretty good condition. It's been well used over the years but no coffee stains. Great reference book though.

Damn-it Jay. I glued pages 1-10 and 1-11 together to avoid looking at those old chrome Taks. I want them all just to have. I don't care if they suck optically but I bet that 135mm would look great on a black body. Kinda like the cars of the 50's with all that shiny stuff.

Now you reminded me of something I really have no use for but want. Thank goodness they are impossible to find.

Now we know what they were going for with the FA chrome ltd lenses.
